FREE ASSESSMENTS WE ASSESS AT NO CHARGE. If there is a question as to what your handpiece will cost to repair, just send it in with a note to assess the cost of renewing it. We will do so, and call you with a firm quote and acomplete answer to your questions.
* ALTERNATE WARRANTEE Use Ez Lube OneStep handpiece Lubricant regularly as per the instructions, and we will increase all 6 month warrantees to 7 months.
Fiber Optic Replacements We replace fiber optics, both bundles and rods. Renew your handpiece at about 50% the cost of buying a new one.
Re-threading Worn out or stripped threads? Don't throw it away. We can replace tail-end threads with stainless steel threads: no more electrolysis. They will out last the handpiece.

Footnotes

  • *Not all parts can and should be sonically cleaned, and certainly not by dental-clinic staff: unless they know what should and should not be dropped into the sonic-cleaner. Most dental handpieces have parts that are irrevocably damaged by sonic cleaning. Alternately, some heads will run cleaner and last longer if sonically cleaned occasionally. Contact us to sort out which ones can and which can't.

  • Re-threading of tail ends: as noted above, this is basically re-building the tail end of dental handpieces with a stainless steel fitting. Dental handpiece repairs should never be necessary on the threads again. It should outlast the remainder of the handpiece.

  • Fiber optic replacements are a touchy aspect of handpieces: just as they are a 'weak-link' in the handpiece. Bundles are considerably more durable, in that they flex somewhat to compensate for hard bumps, but they do tend to break over time: due to the same 'bendability' and flexing that saves them from immediate disaster when dropped. Dental handpieces with optic 'Rods' rather than bundles have a better light-power (lux quantity/quality) than bundles, but are considerably more fragile. It's the nature of the beast: a solid glass rod, rather than a bundle of optical fibers. Treat your fiber optic dental handpieces gently: the optics should last for a long time. (see fiber optics maintenance link above).
